Everyone enjoyed our festive Halloween party, headed by the entertaining singer and pianist Jana Ahnquist, who created a fun – if spooky — experience for all.
Later, we resumed our long-time tradition of greeting young trick-or-treaters with candy and a scare-free welcome. Here, resident Barbara is pictured with her daughter, Kirby.
Artist Wendi C. Smith helped our budding Renoirs create their own fall foliage paintings, which were later framed for display.
Our array of musical programs included weekly sing alongs led by singer-pianist Janice Hannah.
Pete Cormier, founder and director of The Awareness Project, presented “Demystifying Mindfulness,” an introduction to mindfulness training.
Residents enjoyed an outing to the nearby Heritage Cinema to see the new romantic comedy starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
Since learning we have a sizeable number of former bowlers in our midst, discussions are underway to form a bowling club, with occasional “Brunch & Bowl” outings to nearby lanes.
