Norma moved from a residence in Falmouth to Decatur House in August so she could be closer to her daughter who lives nearby. Norma—and her cat Gloria—are reportedly enjoying getting to know their new home and meeting new friends.
Born in 1932, in Gardner, MA, Norma was one of three sisters who grew up during the Great Depression. Her father was a blacksmith and her mother was a homemaker. Norma studied at Wellesley College in Boston before becoming a full-time homemaker and member of many clubs. As a young woman, Norma enjoyed playing tennis and volunteering for causes but says her most memorable experience was raising her children with her late husband Edward.
Norma has three children and twin grandsons, with one daughter and one grandson living in the area. Some of the things Norma likes to do are read (Charles Dickens), listen to classical music, watch TV, craft, and shop!
Welcome to Decatur House Norma!
