Decatur House felt the love on Valentine’s Day! Joyful Noise Preschool and the Friends of Sandwich Public Library created sweet valentines for our residents, which brought big smiles to their faces.
Chef David went all out to make the day extra special. We had a lovely Valentine’s Day meal of beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes and asparagus, followed by a decadent red velvet cake and chocolate-dipped strawberries for dessert.
Each resident received a long-stemmed red rose and we held a special Valentine’s Day social hour with wonderful hors d’ouevres and romantic music. In the photo above, Personal Care Assistant, Nicole serves Mo.
