On December 17, Decatur House hosted a party for our residents and their guests – 45 of our residents beloved family members and dearest friends. The energy was palatable and jubilant; the house was as full as the plates of our guests and the hearts of our residents.
We all enjoyed a performance by the Glass Town Carolers. Decked out in traditional Victorian garb, the carolers sang favorite Yuletide Noels.
Residents treated their guests of honor to a wonderful menu, prepared with the greatest attention to detail by Chef Alana, which included: lobster bisque, corn chowder, lamb lollipops with homemade chimichurri sauce, scallops and bacon, spanakopita, and a lovely charcuterie board.
Decatur House owner, Steve Austin made a trip to Braintree to pick up amazing desserts from the legendary Konditor Meister bakery!
