Summer is busy, and we love it! Our daily Sit & Be Fit exercises kept us in shape for all kinds of activities and field trips during July.
The Fourth of July Parade, always festive and fun, brought great weather and plenty of family and friends to share it with. We made Lighthouse Paintings with Mary and Fairy Houses at Green Briar Nature Center & Jam Kitchen with Marjorie Williams. Mid-month, we enjoyed watching the new Apollo 11 Documentary in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and had fun hearing from each other where we were on that exciting day in 1969.
Our visit to Cape Cod Winery brought many residents out. We gathered under a beautiful canopy and tasted wines that included Blueberry, Cranberry Blush, Chardonnay, Rose Mermaid Water, Reel Red, and Vineyard Sound Sauvignon Blanc. A gorgeous view of the Vineyard was visible from our picnic table. Many laughs were had and everyone went home with their own Cape Cod Winery wine glass!
