In years past, we’ve invited community members in for programs, and families have always been part of holiday celebrations. Of course, everything is different right now! But thanks to our caring community, residents received hand-made Valentines this year from Girl Scout Troop 80826 and the Dugan family. They really brightened everyone’s holiday.
On a cold February day, we had fun learning about and taste-testing tropical fruits. Have you ever tried dragon fruit? It was everyone’s favorite, followed closely by mango. Staff members Lauren and Elaine helped polish off the leftovers.
Everyone’s ready for sunshine and warmer weather; already, more residents are walking outside. We’re so happy we can have small groups again, with safety protocols in place of course.
As we await the resumption of in-person visits, please know the Zoom visit sign-up link is active. We do request 48-hours’ notice, so we can have an iPad and staff member available. Thank you for your continued patience with our commitment to safety for your loved ones. Happy Spring!
