Early February brought unseasonably mild weather, including a few record-breaking warm days ideal for outings.
Our first trip was to nearby Heritage Theater for the new Tom Brady comedy, 80 for Brady, with its stellar cast of treasured veteran actresses.
We next enjoyed a fun luncheon at the popular Marshland Restaurant & Bakery, a local landmark for over 50 years.
Artist Sandy Taylor-Vose coaxed students out of their comfort zone by introducing them to watercolors. Each painter met the challenge admirably, creating their own haunting sunset over a picturesque lagoon.
The Mardi Gras social was also a festive affair, replete with traditional Dixieland music, colorful beads and decorative masks. See photo of Bonnie in her mask above!
We are staying fit through an array of daily exercise programs, including Wednesday Morning Chair Yoga, a popular new class led by Karen.
